About Ryan

Born in Easton, PA and raised in the small town of Drums, PA tucked in the northeast corner of the state, Ryan along with his family relocated from Hershey, PA to Orchard Park in 2012; returning to the Buffalo Metro area they called home in the late-90’s and early-2000’s.  A Father of two Orchard Park school students, one at Eggert Elementary and one at Orchard Park Middle School, Ryan and his family chose Orchard Park because of the excellent quality of life, driven largely by the outstanding reputation of the Orchard Park School District.

A group vice president with the largest bank headquartered in Buffalo, NY, Ryan is responsible for managing hundreds of employees and annual operating budgets in the millions. Ryan wants to bring the skills and experience developed over the last 20-years to the Orchard Park School Board on your behalf.

In 1998, after graduating from Lafayette College in Easton, PA as a Dean’s List student in Government & Law and also punting for the school’s football team, Ryan began his career in a highly-selective Management Development Program at his current organization in Buffalo, NY.  Since then, Ryan has held several management roles in multiple geographies, including Buffalo, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, DC.  In 2003, Ryan earned his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management & Public Policy from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Upon moving to Orchard Park in 2012, Ryan began actively coaching youth sports in Orchard Park including several years with the Orchard Park Soccer Club and Orchard Park Little League, while his wife Brenda became active in parent organizations at Eggert Elementary.  In the spring of 2017, Ryan led a volunteer-driven neighborhood initiative to restore and beautify the 20A entrance to Braunview Estates, raising nearly $10,000 in sixty-days to overhaul landscaping and install a custom sign welcoming residents and guests.  Working in conjunction with local Town government officials, new road signage was also installed to accent the project.  Following completion, Ryan helped establish an online neighborhood directory and events forum to facilitate enhanced communication and bring the neighborhood closer together.

Ryan lives in Braunview Estates with his wife Brenda (BA St. Lawrence University/MBA Virginia Tech University), two children Alex and Audrey, and their family dog Louie.
